Tony has seen first-hand how the media landscape has evolved, changing the roles of journalists, politicians and media spokespeople. His deep experience of this demanding new digital media age places him ideally to deliver the up-to-the-minute media advice to achieve presence and results.

Edward Li, PhD Senior Psychometrician, Pearson VUE
Edward Li received his Ph.D in Education - educational psychology and quantitative methods from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He is passionate about using modern test theory to improve how assessments are designed and analysed, and experienced in identifying operational issues and providing and implementing strategies to resolve them. Before joining Pearson, he worked on large-scale K-12 tests and Australia National Assessment Program exams using both classic test theory and item response theory models. Since joining Pearson VUE, he has been working as lead psychometrician on a few large-scale licensure programs, conducting psychometric analysis and research studies, and providing guidance on item development and test design for the existing and new exams.

Daryl Martin, Business Development Manager, Pearson VUE
Daryl Martin has been the Business Development Manager  (Oceania/South East Asia) for Pearson VUE over the last 8.5 years. He has over 15 years’ experience working in international education and has worked extensively across Asia the Indian sub-continent and the middle east in helping organisations to solve complex learning training and assessment needs in a variety of diverse verticals including Information Technology higher education, financial services and the medical and healthcare sectors.

Andrew Hiebl has been a leading advocate of the business events industry for more than 20 years. He has led the Association of Australian Convention Bureaux as Chief Executive Officer for ten years including positions on the board of the industry peak, Business Events Council of Australia, during this time. 

Andrew also represents the business events industry on the long-standing Tourism Visa Advisory Group, convened by the Department of Home Affairs, the recently mobilised National Tourism Incident Communication Plan group convened by Austrade, and has served 4 years on the board of Australian Regional Tourism Ltd.

Kathy Nguyen, Senior Associate, Governology
Kathy has extensive experience working with associations both nationally and in the Asia-Pacific on association structure, operations and governance. She has reviewed hundreds of constitutions, and regularly presents to organisations on membership, governance and events. Kathy has worked for Associations Forum, the Governance Institute of Australia, Ernst & Young, the Trade Association Forum in London and for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians. Kathy holds Bachelors of Laws & Business.
